Teacher Spotlight: Jessica Peacock

Apr 25, 2012

This week’s teacher spotlight is on Mrs. Jessica Peacock.

Mrs. Peacock is a Math and Language Arts teacher, and has been with Lincoln Interactive for two years. She currently teaches 5th and 6th grade Math and Language Arts.

She is a graduate of Youngstown State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

We caught up with Mrs. Peacock in between her classes to get to know her a little better. Here’s what she had to say:

Lincoln Interactive: What did you want to be when you grew up and why?

Mrs. Peacock: I always wanted to be a teacher. I had a great third grade teacher and I wanted to be just like her.

LI: If you could spend 15 minutes with any person (living or dead), who would it be and why?

Mrs. Peacock: I would love to spend 15 minutes with Oprah.  I think she is a very interesting person and she does a lot of good for people who need it.

LI: If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it?

Mrs. Peacock: I would donate a portion to charity, pay off my student loans, build a house and give some to my family.

LI: If you could be an ice cream flavor, what would it be and why?

Mrs. Peacock: If I had to be an ice cream flavor I would be chocolate chip cookie dough because it is my favorite.

LI: If you could be any color in the Crayola Box, what color would you be and why?

Mrs. Peacock: If I had to be any color in the Crayola Box I would choose the color orange.  It is my favorite color.  It is bright and makes me happy.

LI: Which of Snow White’s seven dwarfs describes you and why?

Mrs. Peacock: If I were one of Snow White’s seven dwarfs I would have to be Bashful because I am usually shy until I feel comfortable in a situation.
